At-Large Qualification
There are two processes by which a team can gain an At-Large USSSA Post Season berth:
-
USSSA Points: Teams can earn an At-Large by participating in USSSA events throughout the season. If a team earns 150 Points through USSSA participation they will automatically be granted an At-Large Berth
-
State Director Application: A team can apply for an At-Large Berth with their State Director. For a team to be given an At-Large Berth by their State Director, it is recommended that they accrue a minimum of 4 USSSA Event Credits. USSSA Event Credits are earned by Stature of the event:
-
League/One Day Shootout/Qualifier = 1 Point
-
NIT = 2 Points
-
State Championship = 3 Points
-
-
For Teams located in an area without a State Director, they can apply to the USSSA National Championship director.
